Thank you for your interest in the 2024 Tasmanian State Homebrew Competition organized by Hobart Brewers and Brew Club Launceston, Judging will be conducted at Du Cane Brewery (60-64 Elizabeth Street, Launceston 7250) on Saturday the 17th of August. Judges are asked to arrive by 10:30 am. .

You only need to register your information once and can return to this site to enter more brews or edit the brews you've entered.

Rules

» One bottle per entry (750ml preferred)

» All entries must have labels attached (Labels can be printed directly from this website).

Brewers can enter up to two entries per category, but not two entries into the same style.
Entrants must nominate a designated Style. Organisers may reclassify or disqualify incorrectly nominated entries.
One bottle per entry (750ml preferred) with a minimum of 500 ml. If unavoidable, entrants may submit two smaller bottles, with duplicate entry forms clearly attached separately to each.
Deposit your entry fees (entry is $10 per bottle)  into the Hobart Brewers Bank Account:

Alternatively cash payment for the entire entry amount could be attached in a sealed envelope to one of your bottles (this is not the preferred option).
Beers in each Category will be judged by a panel of at least 2 judges. Completed scoresheets will be returned to entrants.
Entrants must be residents of Tasmania to win prizes or to qualify for the national competition.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd placegetters in each TSHBC category qualify to enter a beer in the same category in the AABC. Note:only categories with a minimum of three (3) entries will qualify entrants to progress to the National competition.
Labels can be printed directly from this website. After completing your registration print the label and ATTACH TO BOTTLE with sticky tape. There is no need to cover the entire label - just use enough tape so it is secure enough not to fall off.

For a group entry, all brewers listed will receive the same points but any prizes/trophies will only be given to the brewer who entered the beer. Group beers should only be entered once in a Category.
